About Eco club:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Eco club of the College serves as catalysts for environmental action, promoting a sense of responsibility and encouraging sustainable practices both locally and globally. They play a significant role in shaping environmentally conscious citizens who are committed to making a difference in the world around them. In our college Eco club was started in the year 2020.\u00a0<\/span>Ministry\u00a0<\/span>of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Government of India has changed the\u00a0<\/span>earlier National Green Core Scheme to Environment Education Programme (EEP)\u00a0<\/span>from the year 2022-23 with an aim to strengthen the non-formal environmental\u00a0<\/span>education activities.<\/span><\/p>

Objective:<\/span><\/p>

The main objective is to develop children’s understanding of environmental problems, to make them aware of society and to bring students in direct contact with various environmental problems.<\/p>

Focused Activities:<\/span><\/p>

  • Workshop: Workshops, trainings, orientation programmes on environmental topics etc.<\/li>
  • Competition: Painting, essay, slogan writing, quiz, debate, street play, etc.<\/li>
  • Campaign: Cleanliness drive, prevention of single use plastic, cleaning of rivers and ponds etc.<\/li>
  • Exhibition: Exhibition of Environmental Models, Seed Bank, Biodiversity Component, Environment Fair, Eco Club Corner etc.<\/li>
  • Nature Camp: One day<\/li><\/ul>

      Vision and Mission:<\/span><\/p>

      1. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, and engage their parents and neighborhood communities to promote sound environmental behavior.<\/li>
