Government College Bichhua, established in 1989 on Sep.21, by Deptt. of Higher Education, Govt. of M.P. Bichhua is a tehsil place of Chhindwara
District, located on 210 48’38” N and 790 01’30” E latitude and longitude respectively and at altitude of about 550 meters above MSL. Bichhua is in the
environs of Pench area of Chhindwara District. The surroundings of Pench Tiger Reserve is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, The Jungle Book and its representative character Mowgli. This college is running with Arts, Science & Commerce faculty at undergraduate level and Hindi, English, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology and Commerce at postgraduate level with student strength of approximately 2500 and affiliated to Dr. Raja Shankar Shah University, Chhindwara and registered under section 2(f) and 12(b) of U.G.C. act 1956.
