Women Empowerment

Introduction– A women’s cell in a college is a dedicated committee or group aimed at addressing issues related to women students, faculty, and staff, and promoting gender equality within the institution. It provides a supportive environment for women, raises awareness about women’s rights, and organizes various activities and programs to empower women.

Objectives-

Provide support and counseling to women facing issues such as harassment, discrimination, or personal problems.

Conduct workshops, seminars, and awareness programs on gender equality, women’s rights, and related topics.

Educate the college community about laws and policies related to women’s safety and rights.

Conduct workshops on self-defense, stress management, and career guidance.

Organize seminars on topics such as gender sensitization, legal rights, and financial literacy.

Celebrate International Women’s Day, and other relevant days with events and activities.

Organize cultural programs, debates, and competitions to promote gender equality.
