DAY CARE CENTER
introduction
The UGC has introduced a scheme to provide Day Care facilities on payment basis at universities and colleges. In Xth plan for children of around three months to Six years of age when their parents, university employees or students are away from home during day with the objective to help the women and working parents for pursuing their academic career keeping in view the objective not exactly the day care centre. College has set up a room on non payment basis with colourful displays and toys for children so that the can stay with their relatives when their mothers are examination halls. We also give permission to the students for feeding the child in the day care room in between the exam with the assistance of a female employee of the college.
objectives
- To help the students (nursing mother) for keeping their children in safe environment during exam.
- To provide child friendly environment.
- To provide comfortable sitting to the relatives assisting the child.
future plans
- To provide proper day care facilities on payment basis for children of age 3 months to 6 years.
- To build a day care centre with adequate indoor space of approximately 800-1200 sqft.
- To provide friendly environment to child by large colourful displays and activity centres equipped with play material.
- To promote the safety and well being of the children with the help of the trained staff recruitment.
